| As long as I remember, we always had a dog at my parents, but I really fell in love with shepherds when we visited one uncle who had 2 superb GSD females. I was elated by their beauty and intelligence and since then I knew I will have shepherds of my own. After I bought my first house I bought my first GSD an excellent house pet. Shortly after I met my wife Diane Gobeil and together we founded Lacomtesse Kennels at the end of the 80's. In 1993 we bred and owned the Grand Victor and since then we continue to breed and show our own dogs, we showed selects, Futurity Victrix, Maturity Victrix and many futurity maturity winners and many champions. I am a member of the CKC, GSDCC, GSDCA and member and president of Le club de Berger Allemand de la Capitale. I am under permit for German Shepherds since October 2012 and I will judge my first two specialty shows in Canada in 2013. ------------------------- D'aussi loin que je me souvienne nous avons toujours eu un chien dans la famille, mais j'ai réellement eu envie d’avoir un Berger Allemand après une visite chez un de mes oncles qui avait deux femelles de cette race et j'avais été ébahi par leur beauté et leur intelligence et depuis ce jour je savais que je serais propriétaire d’un Berger Allemand un de ces jours. Après avoir acheté ma première maison j'ai aussi acheté mon premier Berger Allemand un excellent compagnon.Peu longtemps après j'ai rencontré Diane Gobeil,nous nous sommes mariés et nous avons fondé l'élevage Lacomtesse à la fin des années 80. En 1993 nous avons remporté le titre de Grand Victor avec un chien de notre élevage et depuis ce temps nous continuons à produire et présenter nous-mêmes nos chiens.Nous avons présenté de sélect, Futurité Victrix, Maturite Victrix,Futurité et Maturité régionnaux et plusieurs Champions. Je suis membre du CCC, GSDCC, GSDCA et membre et président du Club de Berger Allemand de la Capitale. Je suis sous permis pour le Berger Allemand depuis octobre 2012 et en 2013 je juge mes deux premières spécialités au Canada. |
