The Sonny Tougas Bursary Program is designed to aid a young person in their quest to further their education beyond secondary school. The intent is to support post-secondary education at the university, college, or technical school level.
This Bursary was founded to honour the memory of Maurice 'Sonny' Tougas, a Canadian Kennel Club All Breed Judge who passed away in 2008. Sonny had a tremendous impact on the sport of purebred dogs and mentored people who came to him for help in various aspects of our sport.

Anyone interested in applying for a bursary can submit a request for an application to Larry Kereluke at lkereluk@mymts.net.
The deadline for applications is: September 30, 2014.
The winner will be announced at the CPHA dinner in October at the Elgin County Kennel Club Shows.
