| Dr. Flaquer is a Veterinarian specialized in giant breeds general and orthopedic surgery, also a expert in legal veterinary medicine. Dr. Flaquer is also the owner of the Chaputepek Mastiffs Kennel in Brazil, where since 1975 Dr Flaquer evolved to be the Best Mastiff Breeder in Brazil, wining every year straight since 1996. He is the first and only Latin American Breeder to be invited and win titles in the Mastiff Club of America, where in its 2nd year competition, he obtained the title "Best of Winners and second runner up Breeders Cup" for his group of dogs. Also the first Brazilian breeder to have won the “Best of Breed by Exhibitor” at the Eukanuba Cup 2004 and first Brazilian Breeder-owner to be an American Champion and three World Champion Dogs (2004, 2007, 2011, 2012).We are the breeder of the best Mastiff in Eurodogshow and France 2013 . All those animals were bred by Chaputepek Kennel. My kennel is recognized in all world and reference in this breed . Founder and President of the Mastiff Club of Brazil (1998 - 2013). Dr Flaquer became a judge of the Mastiff breed in Brazil (CBKC) associated with the the (FCI) Federacion Cinologique de Cinofilia - Belgium since 2000. As a CBKC-the Brazilian Kennel Club and FCI Federacion Cinologique de Cinofilia he not only is a Mastiff judge, but obtained his “All Breeds Judge” specialized in Mollosers of the Working Group Breeds, and Terrier Group. He continues to be invited for judging all over Brazil, and also in Mexico, Bolivia,Paraguay, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, USA(judge at the mastiff club of America 2010) . In Brazil he has judged many specialities of many breeds like :Rottweiller, Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, English Bulldogs, Brazilian Fila, Dachshund, American Pit Bull and Dogo Argentino. With his brother he co-authored the first and only Mastiff book in Portuguese in the world. "Breed and show dogs for many is the way to earn money and the way to pay the bills, for others is a hobby, the best way to relieve stress, but for me breeding my dogs and judging is the reason of my life". |
